Source quotes other source (Old Settler's Office at Annapolis Maryland, p. 762) which states that Thomas Newbold and wife Adrianna, along with two children Sarah and Murphy, 'transplanted' to Maryland in 1678.
- [S194] 13.
Source notes that as Murphy was not named in father's 1712 Will (and indeed son Thomas is called 'eldest son' in this Will) therefore it must be presumed that Mruphy died prior to 1712.

Source notes that in 1678, Thomas Newbold and wife Adrianna and 2 children, Murphy and Sarah, moved from VA to MD. Most likely scenario would be Thomas and wife having one child each year before 1678, which would make marriage most likey before 1676. It is possible that Thomas married Adrianna in England and brought her to VA in 1674.
