      Source provides documentation of presence of Thomas Newbold in Virginia in 1674. The documentation reflects an adult man, 'Merchant of London', who is leasing 3000 acres and is traveling back to England and returning. Presume that this individual is at least around 25 years old, making his birth sometime before 1650.

      Source notes that Thomas Newbold's Will was signed Feb 9 1712 (1713 new calendar), and probated June 5 1713.

      Clark notes that Katherine Newbold was born to Thomas and Jane in Oct 1689. So they must have married in 1688 or earlier.

      Source notes that in 1678, Thomas Newbold and wife Adrianna and 2 children, Murphy and Sarah, moved from VA to MD. Most likely scenario would be Thomas and wife having one child each year before 1678, which would make marriage most likey before 1676. It is possible that Thomas married Adrianna in England and brought her to VA in 1674.
