Source provides birth & death dates/locations for the sister of wife Hester Ann Layton, Mary Ann Layton. Date of birth given is Feb of 1829. This would make Mary Ann older than sisters Margaret and Hester Ann. Margaret's obituary stated that Mary Ann was the youngest of the 5 children of Cyrus and Elizabeth (Newbold) Layton, however, and clearly established Margaret's birth date as 1833. [S154] . Source states that the death of Mary Ann at age 5 caused the beginning of the family cemetery on the farm where Cyrus and Elizabeth Newbold Layton lived. This cemetery is still in existence. [S154] . In listing all of Cyrus and Margaret's children source states "...and .Mary Ann, the last and youngest having died at the age of five years." Date of birth and death is from other source (as Spurgeon Family Tree on Ancestry.com site) which lists her birth/death dates as 1829 and 1835, respectively. [S148] .
