From Parish Knonau to Carolina & Pennsylvania. To Carolina 1739: Heinrich Sytz, son of the village watchman, age 34 years. Anna Walder, his wife, aged 30 years. Heinrich Sytz, Jr, brother of the above, aged 24 years. To Pennsylvania May 1, 1743 - N B Barbara Neihvergeitt, wife of Heinrich Sytz, whose husband is still alive and 56 years old. Assuming this is Michael, son of Jacob. One writer doesn't think this is Michael, son of Jacob and mary Clubb Seitz and thinks he left the area. Another Michael was convicted for treason and pardoned at Salisbury Superior Court, Sep 1779. May have fled to Florida or Nova Scotia with other Loyalist refugees. |
